Copyrights for information of Kazakhstan Today Information Agency
Copyright for all information of Kazakhstan Today Information Agency belongs to Kazakhstan Today Agency Ltd, and is protected in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on copyrights and adjoining rights.
- Copying (including records for data storage equipment),
- reproduction (including reproduction on sites of the Internet network for any goals),
- processing,
- dissemination,
- live broadcasting,
- transmitting over cable for general information,
- informing for the general audience via Internet,
- another usage of articles and other information of Kazakhstan Today Information Agency, which are placed at Gazeta.kz site (with mentioned copyright - Kazakhstan Today), by any method without written permission Kazakhstan Today Agency Ltd
PROHIBITTED and entails responsibility, considered by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on protection of copyrights and adjoining rights.
Any cooperation should be based on the agreed relations.
Illegal usage of information of the information agency violates the Point 3 of the Article 19 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan 'On copyright and adjoining rights' as of June 10 1996 №6-1, which runs, that "It is allowed without permission of the author or copyrights holder and without paying author fees, but with obligatory citing of the name of the author, article of whom is used, and source of borrowing reproduced in newspapers, live broadcasting or transmitting over cable for general information validly published in newspapers or magazines on current economic, political, social and religious issues or broadcasted live information of the same character in cases, when such reproduction, live broadcasting or transmission over cable were not specially restricted by an author."
These activities entail responsibility according to the points 2 and 3 of Article 184 of the Crime Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of 16.07.1997 N 167-1:
"2. Illegal usage of objects of copyright and adjoin rights, as well as purchasing, storage, replacing or producing of counterfeit copies of products and (or) soundtracks for selling purposes, made in significant size,
- punished by fine in amount of five hundred and up to seven hundred monthly calculating rates or in the amount of salary or another revenue of the convicted for the period from five to ten months or attracted to the social works for the term from hundred and eighty up to two hundred and forty hours, or by arrest for the term from three up to six months.
3. Deeds, considered by the second part of the present article, committed:
a) not once;
b) by a group of people on previous concert or by organized group;
c) in big amount or caused big damage;
d) by a person who misused his working position, -
are punished with imprisonment for the term from two up to five years with confiscation of property or without."
